Tour Costs
As most of our tours are designed as tailor-made birding expeditions, we generally do not have formal set pricing for our tours. After we are certain of what you would like to do, we will provide you with a quote for the tour price, which will be negotiable based on your expectations.
Costs for tours are likely to vary, subject to the following factors:
- duration of the tour;
- distances to be covered;
- number of people embarking on the tour;
- time of year / season;
- specialised nature of tour (eg. remote areas or specific birds like Rufous Scrub-bird or Plains Wanderer);
For shorter tours, an indicative price would start around AUD$250.00 for one person for one day (around the Hunter Region).
Two people for one day would cost around AUD$400.00
Single day tours which include special species (e.g. Rufous Scrub-bird) would incur higher costs.

Payment Details
We do not expect a deposit for single day tours for two or less people.
For all other tours we ask for a 25% deposit of the total cost of the tour following acceptance of the tour price. For tours with a price of more than AUD$1000.00, we ask for 50% payment of the tour price before the commencement of the tour. The remainder of the payment can be made any time during, or at the end of the tour.
These down payments are refundable up to 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour (minus processing fees). Tours cancelled by the client will be non-refundable within 30 days of tour departure. Any tours cancelled by us will be fully refunded.
Online Payment
You may pay any amount towards your account with us online through PayPal using your MasterCard, Visa, bank account or other PayPal-accepted method.
