Birding and Winery Tours
The Hunter Valley is famous for its wines and there are over 120 wineries to choose from. Some of the oldest vines in Australia can be found here and the product is nothing short of world class - the region is renowned for its Semillon, which has been labelled "Australia's unique gift to the world". The Shiraz is also outstanding and there are many other varieties such as Chardonnays and Verdelhos to suit every palate. Why not combine a day's wine-tasting with some equally "world class" birding? The wine region holds some significant woodland remnants where we could easily combine scarce woodland birds, such as Black-chinned Honeyeaters, Speckled Warblers and Brown Treecreepers, with a fine array of quality wines.

Other Wildlife Tours
We are not limited to "birdwatching only" tours. We are also able to conduct wildlife tours to various places that are more catered for people who are interested in all types of plants and animals.
With our extended knowledge of Australian native flora and fauna in general, we can easily provide a more "all-round" tour that will include not only birds, but mammals, reptiles, frogs and even insects as well (not forgetting our native flora and unique habitats).
Within an hour's drive of Newcastle we can find many types of Australian native mammals such as Koalas, Echidnas, Gliders, Possums, Bats and if you are really lucky, Platypus.
Many other native animals can be seen on any type of an extended tour.
