Our focus is to provide you with the most rewarding birding experience possible - whether you wish to see numerous species at a faster pace or fewer species at a gentler pace, we are here to arrange a tour that suits you.
Endemic Bird Tours Australia is a small company that does not conduct trips around set dates with large groups of people. Rather, we arrange tours that cater to exactly what our clients want to see or do - with a much more personal touch. Our tours range from half-day trips to extended tours - you tell us what you wish to see and we will customise an itinerary to suit.

Endemic Bird Tours Australia is operated by brothers, Mick and Steve Roderick, who between them offer nearly 40 years of birding in Australia. We are based in Newcastle, on the east coast of New South Wales, about a 2 hour drive north from Sydney, also served by frequent trains that operate from all parts of Sydney, including the International Airport.

The logo for Endemic Bird Tours Australia is a male Turquoise Parrot (Neophema pulchella) - a stunning yet declining small parrot endemic to the woodlands of South-eastern Australia and a species that we often see on our extended tours.
